Stocksbridge, a small town located about 10 miles north of Sheffield, lies on the edge of the Pennines and the Peak District National Park. It is home to Liberty Steels, a prominent British manufacturer specializing in aerospace steel products.
At the Annual Meeting of the Town Council held on 12th May, Cllr. Richard Crowther was elected Mayor/Chair and Cllr. Julie Grocutt was elected Deputy Mayor for 2026/2027.
Last years Mayor, Cllr Keith Davis, wished them both the best for the year ahead.
