Keep Britain Tidy – Great British Spring Clean 2026

Stocksbridge Town Council is getting involved with The Great British Spring Clean Event 2026, which runs from 13th-29th March, by raising awareness on our platforms and providing equipment to local volunteers.

Last week we had the opportunity to speak with the Stocksbridge and Deepcar Litter Pickers group, who do an incredible job helping to keep the area clean and tidy. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all they do. The town council have provided the group with additional litter picking equipment, and listened to their concerns about litter picking and fly-tipping hotspots in the local area, which have been reported to Sheffield City Council.
