Stocksbridge, a small town located about 10 miles north of Sheffield, lies on the edge of the Pennines and the Peak District National Park. It is home to Liberty Steels, a prominent British manufacturer specializing in aerospace steel products.
The Mayor, Cllr Richard Crowther, and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Julie Grocutt, were delighted to attend Yorkshire Day on Saturday 1st August. Civic leaders and dignitaries from across the region met in Goole for this annual celebration of all things Yorkshire. The event provided an opportunity to celebrate Yorkshire’s rich heritage and strong sense of community.
